Round 2 at Pinehurst LPGA U.S.Open

Here we go for the second week at Pinehurst No.2. The Womens U. S. Open. The ladies get their turn at at track that just proved to be more than tough for the men last week. How will they fair and who will come out on top when it is all over. Martin Kaymer got out of the gate last week in the first two rounds with a pair of 65's. He then was on cruise control and cross the finish line in style to win his second major. It will be the same for the LPGA this week and who ever posts a solid opening round will have the best chance. The conditions are still great even after the men played through last week and the course will play just as tough if not harder than it was last week. As in all majors putting will play a huge part in who comes out on top. But short par fours like No.3 will give even the ladies that window to make birdies and gain momentum. Here are the players that look like they will be in the top ten after the weeks end and have the best chance at winning. Stacy Lewis who is No.1 in scoring.
Lexi Thompson who can crush the ball and will be at an advantage on the short par fours. Inbee Park who can putt lights out and at the moment leads the tour in putting stats. Suzann Pettersen who is No. 1 in greens in regulation and the top rookie  on the LPGA Tour Lydia Ko. All of these players are right now at the top of their field and have the best chance to close the deal. e also need to consider Michelle Wie who is playing some of the best golf of here career and is long over due in the majors for a win. All and all it will make for an exciting week and we should all be looking forward to watching what should prove to be a great Womens U.S.Open.
