Good Things Come to Those Who Wait

Michael Thompson got his first PGA Tour win this week at The Honda Classic. The key to Michael's victory was not getting ahead of himself and playing one shot at a time. Michael said that he learned to stay patient at last years US Open. He told himself he would not look at the leader board and just stick to his game plan. That's just what he did and we can all learn from his win. The next time you are on the course don't get caught up in how well you played the last hole or how many shots you need to make up for a bad hole. Just take your time and access the shot that you have at the moment. Stick to your routine and try to not worry about the result. What ever the result may be except it and move on the the next shot at hand. After the round is over add it all up. You just might have shot a better score than you thought you would.
