We have added Zeroline Golf MTRx app to our arsenal of tech toys to help you get the most out of your swing. This little app gives us more information about your core rotation than anything else on the market.

Motion Capture

Motion Capture
Golf MTRx captures pelvis turn, tempo, speed, acceleration and deceleration. It then takes that data and analyzes it against the professional tour averages. After each swing, you will be able to simply compare your swings against pro averages and the app will then provide feedback on how to improve your swing.

Pelvis Turn
Golf MTRx conducts motion analysis by measuring angular rotation of your pelvis during the backswing, impact and follow-through. Knowing how these numbers affect your swing will make you a better player.

Tempo 
The app keeps track of your tempo, the ratio of your backswing time to downswing/impact time, letting you know if your tempo is causing inefficiency in your swing.

Acceleration/Deceleration
Golf MTRx shows your acceleration and deceleration in kd/s/s (thousand degrees per second per second).

Peak Speed 
Golf MTRx captures the rotational speed of the pelvis in degrees per second (d/s).

Analysis (MTRx Score) 
Instantly analyzes data and provides a MTRx Score with a graphical and numerical representation of the swing, highlighting the areas of weakness and prescribing specific drills for what ails your swing.Comparison

Par Breakers Adds Discount Practice Program

Par Breakers Golf Academy has added a new practice program for it's student base. 

Every student who is in a present lesson program receives a student ID card. Each card is dated and is good for up to one year after the students first session. Once a Par Breakers student gets their card they are entitled to discounts on practice range balls at Par Breakers Indoor Driving Range located in Golf USA of Limerick PA. They also are able to get discounts on two golf simulators with a virtual range along with discounts on it's Flightscope Doppler radar practice bay. Discount rates are as follows.

Range balls $2.00 Off 100 $1.00 Off 50. Simulator $30.00 Hr. $20.00 1/2 Hr.  Flightscope $25.00 Hr.

Good Things Come to Those Who Wait

Michael Thompson got his first PGA Tour win this week at The Honda Classic. The key to Michael's victory was not getting ahead of himself and playing one shot at a time. Michael said that he learned to stay patient at last years US Open. He told himself he would not look at the leader board and just stick to his game plan. That's just what he did and we can all learn from his win. The next time you are on the course don't get caught up in how well you played the last hole or how many shots you need to make up for a bad hole. Just take your time and access the shot that you have at the moment. Stick to your routine and try to not worry about the result.
